Valley of Flavours operates this website and the food delivery service offered through it.
Our registered address is Chandigarh, Chandigarh.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, phone number, delivery address and the location coordinates for that address. We use the coordinates to work out which of our outlets can reach you and what the delivery charge should be.
If you allow your browser to share your location, we use that position only to suggest a nearby outlet. It is never stored as your delivery address unless you confirm it as one.
We record the contents of your order, the amount paid and the payment status. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials. Those are handled entirely by our payment provider.
Why we use it
To cook and deliver your order, to contact you if the rider cannot find you, to process payments and refunds, and to keep accurate records of sales as required by law.
We also keep anonymous, aggregated statistics about how the site is used so we can see where ordering is difficult and fix it.
Who we share it with
Our payment provider, to take payment. The delivery rider assigned to your order, who sees your name, address, phone number and delivery instructions. Our hosting and database providers, who store this data on our behalf.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Saved addresses stay in your browser and are removed when you clear them or clear your browser data.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.
